Moisture susceptibility of waste ceramic tiles modified asphalt mixtures

چکیده
Waste ceramic tiles have been recognized as viable in producing asphalt mixtures. However, the primary concern is assurance of its durability, especially terms moisture damage. Therefore, this research aims to investigate susceptibility mixtures incorporating waste (WCT). The coarse aggregates 25 mm size were partially replaced with WCT at 0%-50% proportions. Marshall Method mix design was used calculate optimum bitumen content (OBC) various levels replacement. Utilizing retained strength index (RSI) and tensile ratio (TSR) tests, mixes compacted OBC assessed. results indicate that continuous increase leads decreased TSR RSI values. ranges from 91.10%-81.90%, 74.91%-61.07% 47.89%-41.05% 1, 3, 7-day curing, respectively. 89.27-74.73%, 71.48-63.81% 58.02-46.79% Nevertheless, it determined WCT-modified met standards for satisfactory resistivity performance 1 3 days curing. For satisfying mixtures, study recommends an proportion 30% WCT.
